SOLANA·HUB Editorial

On 20 October, Sunrise and Backpack Securities wrote on X that TSLA is listed on Solana via Sunrise. Both posts name Backpack Securities as the issuer.

In its post, Backpack Securities says TSLA is redeemable 1:1 for Tesla shares and transferable to traditional brokerages.

Sunrise names the mint TSLAqBbv4CNCnzWFeB7LmydAyEiNMJtve7DYKLpdK4S and calls it the canonical TSLA address on Solana. Onchain, the name is “Tesla - Backpack Securities”, the symbol is TSLA, and there are 6 decimals. The mint account sits in the Token-2022 program.

Sunrise’s page data lists the United States and Canada as blocked regions. The same data dates the start to 20 October.

That day, Orca wrote on X that TSLA is tradable on Orca. According to Orca, liquidity can be provided there around the clock.

Update (21 October 2026): META and ABNB

On 21 October, Sunrise wrote on X that META is listed on Solana via Sunrise. Sunrise names Backpack Securities as the issuer.

Backpack writes that META is redeemable 1:1 for Meta Platforms shares and transferable to traditional brokerages. According to Jupiter, META is tradable on Jupiter around the clock.

According to Sunrise, ABNB passed $5 million in trading volume on its first day on Solana. That figure is Sunrise’s own.

Conversion on Backpack Exchange

Backpack’s documentation describes how tokenized securities convert through Backpack Exchange. The page we read does not name TSLA. The flow needs a Backpack Exchange account with completed KYC and a Solana wallet.

For a withdrawal to Solana, the documentation names an estimated platform fee of about 0.50 US dollars. The fee is paid in the tokenized security being withdrawn. According to the page, Backpack charges no further fee on that step.

Backpack charges no fee when a holder deposits the token back into traditional securities holdings. A Solana network fee can still apply.

The page says the description is informational only. It points to the user agreement for the details.

Authorities on the mint

The permanent delegate, the pause authority, and the freeze authority all point to 2cVYpagTt7ZGc3mmTXBa7fAznUtx5DUu6aCq8uVDaf4a. The mint authority is 4HAAPwMQuawnhU2dDRQD9UXLKBEebd4riv5ATUZUcRTa.

Solana’s documentation says a permanent delegate can authorize transfers and burn tokens from any token account of that mint. Holders cannot remove that delegate from their token accounts.

The pause authority can pause the whole mint. While the mint is paused, the program rejects transfers, mints, and burns. At the time of the query on 21 October, the mint was not paused.

The freeze authority can freeze individual token accounts. Until it is thawed, a frozen account cannot receive, transfer, or burn tokens.

What to watch

  • Whether those authority addresses are publicly tied to a named issuer
  • Which countries Backpack opens the conversion to
  • Whether Sunrise’s page data lists the same blocked regions for META as for TSLA
  • Whether the pause is switched on

How the supply was read. A getTokenSupply call at 11:42 a.m. Berlin time on 21 October 2026 went to api.mainnet-beta.solana.com.

Slot 459582844 returned a supply of 2,074.879061 tokens. The scaled-UI multiplier was 1. The raw amount and the displayed amount are therefore the same figure.
