On 29 October 2026, Polygon connected Solana to the Open Money Stack. Businesses on Solana can run the path from a deposit to a payout through one interface, Polygon wrote on X.
According to the blog from the same day, deposits by bank transfer, card, cash, or crypto are available. Balances can sit in custodial or embedded wallets on Solana. Payouts go to bank accounts, cards, cash, or wallets.
The interface routes USDC, USDT, PYUSD, SOL, and Wrapped SOL between Solana, TRON, and EVM chains. Polygon writes that this happens in one transaction. Polygon rests the fiat side on money-transmitter licenses in 48 US states.
The Block, citing a Polygon statement, writes that the payments firm Kira is among the first customers. Kira uses Solana for stablecoin transfers and Polygon’s banking link to pay suppliers in dollars. Polygon’s blog names no customer.
Polygon calls Solana the next chain in this product and says more blockchains will follow.
