Tokenized Stocks: $4.3B in 30 Days — SpaceX Token Drives Record on Solana
Tokenized stocks hit record volume: around $4.3 billion in 30 days, driven by the SpaceX token $SPCX. Per market trackers, most of the $SPCX volume ran on Solana — traded around the clock.
What Happened
Trading in tokenized stocks has hit a new record — driven by $SPCX, the tokenized SpaceX share that Backpack Securities launched with infrastructure partner Sunrise on 12 June 2026, the day of SpaceX’s Nasdaq listing. Over the past 30 days, around $4.3 billion in tokenized stocks were traded on-chain, per market data — the highest monthly volume since inception, up more than 140% year-to-date.
The Numbers
- Daily record: on a single day in mid-June, volume reached around $187.9 million — of which more than $105 million was $SPCX alone.
- Solana share: at the peak of the surge, most $SPCX trading ran on Solana, per market trackers; reports cite up to around 97-99%.
- Around the clock: unlike traditional exchanges, trading runs continuously, including outside US market hours.
Context
