Securitize launches twelve U.S. stock tokens on Solana, also for eligible EU investors
Securitize launched tokens on twelve U.S. stocks on Solana. Each token is, the firm says, 1:1 backed and a UCC Article 8 security entitlement. Trading is in USDC after KYC, not around the clock yet. The EU is named; Switzerland is not.
What Securitize Launched
Securitize, Inc. (NYSE: SECZ) said on October 8, 2026 that Securitize Stocks are launching. The first offering is security entitlements to shares of AAPL, MSFT, NVDA, GOOG, TSLA, META, AMZN, NFLX, CRCL, SPCX, MSTR, and PLTR. The launch network is Solana. Trading runs on Securitize’s registered broker-dealer platform and settles in USDC. The product catalog already lists the names with Solana mainnet addresses, with Alphabet under GOOGL rather than GOOG.
The release addresses eligible investors in the United States, the EU, and other permitted jurisdictions. Securities laws, sanctions, and other restrictions still apply. Access, the release says, depends on onboarding, KYC/AML, and jurisdictional eligibility.
In the same release Securitize reports about $5 billion in assets under management as of September 2026. That figure is the company’s own.
What the Catalog Lists
The release uses tickers. The catalog at stocks.securitize.io adds names:
- AAPL, Apple
- AMZN, Amazon.com, Inc.
- CRCL, Circle Internet Group, Inc.
- GOOGL, Alphabet Inc. Class A, ISIN US02079K3059
- META, Meta Platforms, Inc. Class A
- MSFT, Microsoft Corporation
- MSTR, Strategy Inc
- NFLX, Netflix, Inc.
- NVDA, NVIDIA Corporation
- PLTR, Palantir Technologies Inc.
- SPCX, Space Exploration Technologies Corp. Class A
- TSLA, Tesla, Inc.
SECZ, Securitize Corp, is also in the catalog. The release does not count SECZ among the twelve names in the initial offering. The new tokens are meant to trade alongside Securitize’s own tokenized common stock, which the release describes as issuer-sponsored. That stock has traded in tokenized form on Solana since the NYSE listing in July.
Alphabet does not match across the two sources. The release writes GOOG. The catalog lists GOOGL, Class A, ISIN US02079K3059. The site has no page for the ticker GOOG. SPCX sits in the release on the same list as the exchange-listed names. The product page calls SPCX Class A shares of Space Exploration Technologies Corp., the company known as SpaceX. The release does not say whether those shares are listed on an exchange.
What the Token Is Supposed to Be
The release says each token is backed 1:1 by an underlying share and is a security entitlement under UCC Article 8. It is structured to keep the economic benefits, including dividends, and, where the share class carries them, voting rights. Shares backing the tokens will not be lent out.
The structure is a convertible entitlement token (CET). When a company adopts issuer-sponsored tokenization, investors can convert the entitlement into shares recorded on the company’s register, through Securitize’s transfer-agent partnerships, where that path is available. The release calls the token a security entitlement. Direct registration is described as a later step, not the position at launch.
In the catalog the transfer-agent value is COMPUTERSHARE for the twelve names and CONTINENTAL_STOCK for SECZ. Neither the release nor the catalog names who holds the shares behind the entitlement today. RQD* is quoted as supporting Securitize while it builds a framework for clearing, custody, and settlement. The quote does not identify RQD as the custodian of those shares.
The product site goes further. It says a buyer is purchasing the underlying security and holds the same rights as a traditional shareholder. The same page splits the tokens in two. Some are issued by the company, and the token is the share. Others are CETs. The release places Securitize Stocks in the CET category.
On the U.S. rulebook, Securitize says the offering is designed to be consistent with SEC guidance on tokenized securities. Secondary trading, it says, is offered through the broker-dealer in a regulated way, without the need for exemptions. The release does not name the guidance document. Eligibility for tokenized securities venues, as contemplated by the SEC’s Innovation Exemption, is described as expected, not as trading that is open now.
The footer on stocks.securitize.io names the broker-dealer: Securitize Markets, LLC, a FINRA and SIPC member registered with the SEC. The same footer says securities offered on the Securitize Markets ATS have not been registered under the Securities Act of 1933 and may not be offered or sold in the United States without registration or an exemption. It also says “investors” on the site typically means accredited investors where applicable, and that Securitize Markets decides eligibility. The release and the footer do not say the same thing about U.S. access. The firm’s Customer Relationship Summary, last updated November 2023, does not describe these stock tokens. In it, Securitize Markets says the firm does not custody funds or securities for customers.
Who Can Open an Account
The trading-site FAQ describes access this way: trading uses a third-party self-custody wallet only. A person needs a Securitize account and has to pass KYC. Securitize then whitelists the wallet address. The securities can move only between whitelisted wallets on the platform.
The FAQ names no countries. The release names the EU, not Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Switzerland is not in the EU. Naming the EU does not mean every person in the EU, or in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, can trade. The release does not name a specific EU authorization. Securitize describes itself as operating regulated digital-securities infrastructure in the United States and the EU.
How Trading Works at the Start
Liquidity at launch comes through Securitize’s Solana PropAMM, with Jump Trading as market maker. The release says trading is initially available during extended hours. Around-the-clock trading is a plan, not the opening setup. The FAQ gives the window: 4:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. ET. The platform fee, according to the FAQ, is 0.10% of the trade amount in USDC and covers execution gas. Orders are market orders. The price shown before confirmation is an NBBO reference, the best publicly displayed bid and offer across U.S. exchanges, not the execution price.
Still expected, and not open, are a NYSE 24/7 venue, subject to that venue’s launch and to regulatory and operational requirements, and the OKXICE tokenized securities venue from OKX and Intercontinental Exchange. For that venue the plan is 24/7 trading, instant settlement, and self-custody in a permissioned environment. Ripple Prime plans to support the launch. Use as collateral, including on Aave, is placed in the future (“over time”). Asset pages mark DeFi integrations as “Coming soon”.
Next to xStocks
Securitize sets the tokens apart from products that mainly track a price. The release does not name xStocks or Backpack.
xStocks, in the issuer’s current docs, are tracker certificates from Backed Assets (JE) Limited. Each certificate is collateralized 1:1 by the underlying equity, held with regulated custodians in segregated accounts. It provides economic exposure, not voting rights and not direct equity ownership. Dividends are reinvested rather than paid in cash. On Solana the tokens are freely transferable (Token-2022) and can trade on secondary markets around the clock. Issuance and redemption with the issuer run on U.S. market days. xStocks are not marketed or offered in the United States or to U.S. persons. For the EU and EEA, the docs point to a base prospectus approved by Liechtenstein’s FMA. Background on this site: Tokenized stocks (xStocks) on Solana.
Backpack Securities and the Sunrise tokens, including SpaceX and Eli Lilly, are separate stories: Backpack Securities, SPCX, LLY.
What to Watch

- Whether the NYSE venue and the OKXICE venue open, and whether trading moves to 24/7
- Which investors in the EU clear KYC, and whether Securitize names an EU authorization
- Whether a custodian for the underlying shares is named
- Whether any company opens conversion onto its shareholder register
