According to Orca, pool creators can choose two new Adaptive Fee profiles. Launch Spike is for new tokens, Quick Reset for frequent volatility. The fee responds when the price moves.

On 22 October, Orca announced two new Adaptive Fee profiles on X. According to Orca, pool creators can choose them.
Launch Spike is for new token launches. Quick Reset is for tokens with frequent bursts of volatility. When the price moves, the pool’s fee responds.
The profiles differ in how hard the fee rises and how fast it falls back. This post does not give the figures for that rise and reset.
