GMX describes Builder Fees on Solana
On 22 October, GMX described Builder Fees on Solana. Builders publish a rate and earn a fee on position orders. At 1,000 US dollars and 0.01 percent, GMX names a 0.10 US dollar fee. The docs require an enabled Store.
On 22 October, GMX described Builder Fees on Solana in an X article. Someone who builds an interface, a bot, or a wallet can publish a rate on-chain, GMX wrote.
The builder collects the fee on position orders from its users. GMX says third parties operate the interfaces.
The fee follows the change in position size. For 1,000 US dollars of additional position size at 0.01 percent, GMX puts the fee at 0.10 US dollars. The linked GMTrade documentation adds it on top of trading fees and says it is not a referral rebate.
That documentation says the trader signs the exact rate with the order. Rates have an on-chain cap.
The fee covers market and limit orders that increase or decrease a position, and stop-loss orders that decrease one. Swaps, liquidations, and auto-deleveraging are excluded.
The fee settles into the builder’s claim vault. The builder can claim it.
Before a nonzero rate can be attached, the documentation requires the feature to be enabled on the protocol Store. The SDK in the article is gmsol-sdk version 0.11.0-beta.1.
The latest version on GitHub is v0.10.0, published on 11 August 2026. Neither the article nor the documentation says whether the mainnet Store has the feature enabled.
