New Meteora DBC tokens can carry transfer fees
On 22 October 2026 Meteora said new DBC tokens can carry transfer fees that go to holders. After a DAMM v2 migration the fees can be kept or revoked. Tessera and PreStocks are named as quote assets.

On 22 October, Meteora wrote on X that transfer fees are available on its DBC launch tool for new tokens. Those fees can be shared with holders. After a migration to DAMM v2, they can be kept or revoked.
The post names tokens from Tessera and PreStocks as quote assets. It gives no fee rate.
On 16 October, Meteora Ecosystem wrote on X that Token-2022 transfer fees on base and quote tokens were available with DBC 0.2.2. The changelog describes release 0.2.2 as running on mainnet and devnet. A base-mint fee there is at most 10 percent.
