What Happened

Metaplex has introduced Vantage: a modular trading terminal that, per the announcement, bundles charts, research, order entry, and portfolio view as freely arrangeable modules — with swaps plus market and limit orders. The claim per Metaplex: a terminal that adapts to the user’s workflow rather than the other way around. The product runs as a beta at vantage.metaplex.com.

The Shift Behind It

Vantage marks the next step of a movement that had been taking shape: Metaplex — as a protocol the standard infrastructure for token and NFT creation on Solana — increasingly builds end-user interfaces. First came faster quotes, Quick Buy, and MEV protection in trading, then its own token launch tools, now a full terminal. With that, the asset-layer provider steps directly alongside wallet and aggregator frontends like Phantom or Jupiter.

What a terminal is not belongs in the picture: an interface for on-chain orders, not a broker — execution, routing, and custody follow the connected protocols and your own wallet. A new trading frontend also, as experience shows, means new copycat domains; the address above comes from the official announcement.

What to Watch
