Jupiter Merges Swap and Terminal: Spot V2 Is Live
Jupiter has combined its swap interface and trading terminal into a single page. New alongside it: curated live news, a sector heatmap, and the ability to track large traders' wallets right next to the swap window.
What happened
Jupiter, the largest trading aggregator on Solana, has released Spot V2. The previously separate surfaces — the simple swap and the trading terminal — now live on one page.
What is new
Alongside the swap window, additional information surfaces are now available:
- Live news, per Jupiter human-curated rather than purely automated.
- Sector heatmap, showing which parts of the market are moving.
- Influential posts from X, embedded directly.
- Wallet tracking: positions of large addresses and notable traders can be watched next to the trade.
Context
The move shifts Jupiter from a pure execution tool toward a surface that bundles execution and market information — the direction centralized exchanges have taken their terminals for years. For Solana it means: fewer tool switches, more context at the point where the decision happens.
