Jupiter Releases Redesigned Mobile App With One-Tap Trading and Onramp
Jupiter has fully overhauled its mobile app — one-tap trading, fiat onramp in under a minute, magic-scan feature, and a unified wallet interface. Update is live on App Store and Play Store.
What happened
Jupiter released a fully redesigned version of its mobile app on 14 May 2026. The update has been available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store since the same day. Official announcement via the Jupiter X account plus product page at jup.ag/mobile.
What the app can do now
Jupiter describes the mobile app on its own product page with five core features:
- One-tap trading — trades with a single tap, slippage and fees handled automatically. Jupiter calls it “the simplest and fastest trading experience anywhere”.
- Fiat onramp in under 60 seconds — direct conversion from US dollars or euros into SOL via Apple Pay, Google Pay, and credit card. Jupiter advertises “fiat to SOL in fifty seconds”.
- Magic Scan — scan-to-trade feature. Point the camera at a token symbol or QR, the app finds the matching token and prepares the trade.
- Invite flow — onboard new users to Solana in fewer than three steps. Streamlined account setup without requiring seed-phrase understanding upfront.
- Low fees — Jupiter claims “ten times cheaper than any other wallets” for trades inside the app.
Tagline and positioning
The official mobile page carries two taglines: “Built for Solana DeFi. Designed for Everyone.” and “10x better trading, portfolio, wallet and more.” In Jupiter’s X communications a third short tagline appears — “Just Use Jupiter” — referring to the all-in-one functionality for Solana end users.
What changes for users
The mobile app is Jupiter’s attempt to grow from a DEX-aggregator frontend into a full Solana wallet frontend. Concrete effects:
- Lower onboarding hurdles — fiat onramp and invite flow explicitly target newcomers
- Magic Scan reduces token-address typos — relevant against address-phishing
- One app instead of several — users who previously combined Phantom or Solflare for the wallet with Jupiter’s web for the DEX aggregator can now have both in one app
What we could not verify
In our source notes, the features Lend, Borrow, and Spend also appear. The official mobile product page jup.ag/mobile does not explicitly list these functions as of 14 May 2026. They may be part of a roadmap announcement in the X post but are not advertised on the product page at research time.
Availability
- iOS — Apple App Store, search term “Jupiter Solana”
- Android — Google Play Store, same search
- Both stores — free, no forced account creation before first launch
Not financial advice. This article describes a Solana app update. Crypto trading remains risky — the app reduces UX hurdles, not market volatility.
