SOLANA·HUB Editorial

On 22 October, J.P. Morgan Asset Management said the tokenized money market funds MONY and JLTXX are available on Solana to qualified US investors.

Qualified investors subscribe and redeem through Morgan Money. Token balances go to the investor’s blockchain address.

Two funds, two gates

MONY is the My OnChain Net Yield Fund. According to the release, it is a Rule 506(c) private placement. The fund is meant for investors who qualify for that kind of placement.

The release names Qualified Purchasers under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and Accredited Investors under the Securities Act of 1933. According to the release, J.P. Morgan was the largest global systemically important bank to bring a tokenized money market fund to a public blockchain. The release ties that description to the December 2025 launch of MONY.

JLTXX is the JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund. The release calls it a registered US government money market fund. According to the fact sheet, the fund intends to meet the eligible reserve-asset requirements for stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

The JLTXX fact sheet is dated 30 September 2026. It puts fund assets at $628.48 million. The investment minimum is $1 million.

The share class started on 13 May 2026. According to the fact sheet, the fund invests only in US Treasuries. It also uses overnight repos fully collateralized by US Treasuries or cash.

An investor can lose money. The funds seek to keep the value at $1.00 per share. They cannot guarantee they will do so.

The holding is not a bank account. It is not insured by the FDIC or any other government agency. According to the release, the sponsor is not required to reimburse losses, and the release holds out no financial support, including during market stress.

Addresses and supply

The release gives the Solana address for MONY as EToDtBM2knZ8N1BHyUq2Riq5ngWTcoD3k6qpsgf7CKYY. The JLTXX address is J4cTuCH6frt4AnEmKfMS2k8hsUf7K94PV62sjUJno8Cz.

Onchain, the mint names are “My OnChain Net Yield Fund” and “JPMorgan OnChain Liquidity-Token Money Market Fund”. Both mints sit in the Token-2022 program.

On 23 October, 6 MONY were in circulation. JLTXX supply was 450,124,977.58 tokens. Fact-sheet assets are a different figure, dated 30 September.

New accounts start frozen

New token accounts on both mints start in the frozen state. Solana’s documentation says the Default Account State extension sets that initial state. Until it is thawed, a frozen account cannot receive, transfer, or burn tokens.

Both mints have a permanent delegate. Solana’s documentation says that delegate can authorize transfers and burn tokens from any token account of the mint. Holders cannot remove the delegate from their token accounts.

On each mint, the mint authority, the freeze authority, and the permanent delegate are the same address.

What to watch

  • Whether supply on Solana rises over the coming days
  • Which other networks the funds already use
  • Whether MONY has a dollar minimum. The fact sheet we read covers JLTXX
