Bulk no longer sees itself as a Solana DEX
On 29 October, kdot wrote that calling Bulk a Solana DEX would be too narrow. An extension to Arc, Tempo, Arbitrum, and HyperEVM is announced. Collateral is on Solana.
On 29 October 2026, kdot wrote on X that calling Bulk a Solana DEX would be too narrow. The post calls Bulk its own L1 for trading. An order book, a matching engine, and a risk engine are part of it.
Bulk shared the post on its own profile. A Solana Media episode from 22 January 2026 calls kdot a co-founder of Bulk. The X profile, read on 29 October, says “Customer Service”.
In that post, kdot writes that there has been friction between Bulk’s own execution and the preference of Solana’s leadership. Collateral is on Solana. kdot announces an extension to Arc, Tempo, Arbitrum, and HyperEVM, and frames it as a plan.
Anatoly Yakovenko replied in public the same day. According to him, something that does not run on the L1 is not on Solana. It sits on its own L1.
