Ondo launches seven portfolio tokens on Solana

On 29 October Ondo launched seven Intelligent Portfolios on Solana. Three follow strategies BlackRock built for Ondo. Ondo’s documentation says the tokens are not a fund and not ETFs.

On 29 October 2026, Ondo launched seven Intelligent Portfolios on Solana. Each one is a transferable token for a basket of tokenized stocks and ETFs, Ondo said in its press release.

Three of the seven follow strategies BlackRock developed for Ondo. Their tickers are BLKHIon, BLKGRWon, and BLKDIGon. Ondo built the other four itself: BRAINon, YLD5on, YLD8on, and MAG7Xon.

On X, Ondo calls YLD5on “5% Targeted Income” and YLD8on “8% Targeted Income”. The press release lists the same tokens as targeted-income portfolios.

Not a fund, and no shareholder rights

Ondo’s documentation says the tokens are not a fund and not an ETF. Holders do not get shareholder rights in the securities inside the basket, including voting rights and statutory information rights. The issuer is Ondo Global Markets (BVI) Limited.

BlackRock supplies the model. According to the documentation, BlackRock does not issue the tokens, does not custody the assets, and has no obligations to holders. The press release’s legal notice names BlackRock funds inside the strategies, and those funds pay fees to BlackRock.

Minting and redemption generally run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. US Eastern time. Both settle with the issuer in one transaction, including fractions. That requires Ondo Stocks KYC.

On secondary markets the tokens can be transferred around the clock. A purchase there does not replace the KYC. The same country and transfer rules apply as for Ondo Stocks.

Ondo restores the target weights about once a quarter.

If one asset in the basket is not trading, minting and redemption pause until the full basket is open again. Dividends go back into the basket after withholding tax. The token price reflects the market move and that reinvested income.

Access, fees, and balances

Direct purchase follows the same country rules as Ondo Stocks. The eligibility page bars people in the United States and US persons. In an EEA country the page requires professional-client status or qualified-investor status.

For the EEA, the table asks for two of three thresholds, for individuals and for entities. One is a financial portfolio of €500,000. The others are ten substantial transactions per quarter across four quarters, or one year of work in the financial sector.

The same page says Ondo Stocks are not available to individuals in Switzerland. The press release says a base prospectus approved by the Liechtenstein FMA makes many Ondo Stocks available to retail investors in the EEA as well. The release defines those tokens as Ondo Stocks and USDY.

Each portfolio charges an annual service fee. It accrues daily inside the token price. The rate is on that portfolio’s product page.

The press release reports more than $40 million in TVL on Ethereum and BNB Chain in the first four weeks. The blog from the same day says more than $45 million in the first few weeks. On Solana, Ondo reports more than $500 million in TVL in tokenized assets.

The 16 October report cites rwa.xyz at $514.6 million for Ondo on Solana. On X, Ondo names Titan, 1inch, LI.FI, and Jumper as launch partners. The press release says more portfolios are planned.

What to watch

  • Which eligibility rule applies to the portfolio tokens in the EEA, the Ondo Stocks page or the base prospectus
  • The service fee on each product page
  • Which apps besides Titan, 1inch, LI.FI, and Jumper carry the tokens
  • When chains beyond Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Solana are added
