Kamino opens a U.S. headquarters in New York and names two executives
Kamino names Matthew Klopfer and Blake Messer and opens a U.S. headquarters in New York. The release cites volume, loans, and two institutional users.
Kamino has named Matthew Klopfer Head of U.S. Institutional Expansion and Blake Messer Head of Agentic Operations. Both report to CEO Michael Weisz and are among the first senior hires at the new U.S. headquarters in New York. Kamino said so on 16 October in a BusinessWire release and linked it on X.
Klopfer comes from Yieldstreet, now Willow Wealth, and Messer was CTO at Cratejoy. The release says Kamino has processed more than $650 billion in cumulative volume and originated more than $20 billion in loans. Forward Industries and Galaxy use Kamino as collateral infrastructure, the release says.
