Helius: Parsed Streams and the Parsed Events API Leave Beta

Helius has made Parsed Streams and the Parsed Events API generally available, including on the free plan. Both deliver decoded Solana transactions for more than 3,600 programs and replace the Enhanced Transaction products.

What Happened

RPC and data provider Helius took Parsed Streams and the Parsed Events API out of beta on September 24. According to the Helius documentation, both are now available on all plans, including Free. During the open beta, they were available on paid plans only, per Helius.

What the Two Products Do

  • Parsed Streams is a WebSocket service, per Helius: it watches every confirmed Solana transaction (vote transactions excluded), decodes it, and pushes the transactions that match a filter you define.
  • Parsed Events applies the same decoding to historical transactions: individual signatures or an address’s history, available over REST.
  • Coverage: per Helius, more than 3,600 programs are decoded from their onchain interface descriptions (IDLs), plus core programs with built-in decoders. Instead of raw data, the output includes named accounts, named instructions, plain-language summaries, and every SOL and token transfer.

Pricing and Replacement

Each delivered event costs 1 credit, per Helius, the same rate as a webhook event. Metering for Parsed Streams began on September 24; beta users are not charged until October 1, per Helius. Parsed Streams replaces Enhanced Transaction Webhooks, and Parsed Events succeeds the Enhanced Transactions API. Helius gives no shutdown date for the legacy products. How RPC providers on Solana work in general is covered in Solana RPC explained.

What to Watch

  • When Helius names a shutdown date for the Enhanced Transaction products
  • How the number of decoded programs develops
